Love disorder. A domestic made super 8 of two dolls, killing and kissing each other together combines with a text dissecting the process that goes on in abuse between a couple. The movie was shot in 1996, since then I have been working on an off in clarifying the mechanisms of violence.

The Disappearing View-2006 Simon Lund

Este es un corto que  he grabado en 35mm del los cambios fuera  la ventana de mi piso en Nueva York en el fin de los años 90.

This is a film I shot in 35mm of the changes happening out of my apartment window in New York in the late 90´s. I was selling it as stock footage but it was returned from the agency  because of the dark associations of 9/11. I thought it was a shame to let the footage disappear so I put it together as this film.

En la calle

He encuentrado un magnetiscopio VHS en la calle ayer y quando lo enchufaba, no se salgo la cinta. Me meté el dedo en la puertasita y había algo mas de un cinta encima. Abré la caja y este es que you enquntré encima. Ahora funciona perfectamente.

I found a VHS deck (a nice one) in the street yesterday and when I took it to the office and plugged it in, the tape that was inside would not eject. I put a finger in the door and there was something  more than a tape inside. When I took the cover off, this is what I found:

Now it works perfectly.

Tenía una compañero de piso que al decirle que la estatica es rudio de la  radio que está en el espacio, ser sentó delante de la televisión  y miro la estatica en la tele durante seis  horas esperando para un mesaje desde “el espacio”.  Ahora mismo,  mi amigo es un monje budista.

Aqui hay un bucle de estatica real grabado de un televisor ByN en alta definición le invito a que espere su mensaje. Dale a play en tu reproducadora de video con un pantailla 16:9 en el modo loop.
